If you’re considering becoming a practice member at Integrative Chiropractic, you may have questions. We’re here to make sure that you can move forward feeling confident and fully informed. If you have further concerns, we’ll be happy to address them.

Do you work with pregnant women?

Yes. Chiropractic is safe and effective for expecting moms.

Do you work with sports injuries and auto injuries?

Yes. If you’ve had an injury, we’ll be happy to work with you to get you back to a state of health.

Once I go to a chiropractor, do I always have to?

No. It’s always your choice to continue care. Our commitment is to provide care that’s useful for you as long as you choose.

Does a chiropractic adjustment hurt?

No. in our office, there is no twisting, turning or popping required to get results.

Does chiropractic cure everything?

Chiropractic helps people with many ailments and conditions but isn’t a cure. It facilitates your body’s natural healing ability.

Why would you have a newborn or young child adjusted?

In babies and children, we can align their spine and nervous system during their critical developmental years. With our gentle technique, we can ensure that they grow to the best of their design.

Can chiropractic help with colic?

Yes. Colic has many causes. If there is nerve impingement, your baby’s body can’t communicate as it should. The feedback from the stomach to the brain about what to eat, how much, and how fast is incorrect. Your child can’t manage it on their own. That’s where chiropractic comes in.

Do I need a physician referral?

No. There is no referral necessary to come to our office.

Do you work with medical doctors?

Yes. We’ll be happy to speak with your doctors about your case and send them any needed information.

Will I get adjusted on the first visit?

No. We always look to understand what’s going on before we started adjusting. That’s why your examination findings will be analyzed after your first visit. Then, on the next visit, you’ll get an adjustment.

Will you suggest exercises and other things I can do?

Yes. We want you to get the most out of your care. Dr. Fisk will recommend exercises and anything else he feels may help you.

Can someone who has had back surgery see a chiropractor?

Yes. Our Network Spinal Analysis technique is extremely gentle and non-force, making it perfect for people who are concerned about past back surgeries.
